Welcome! These Terms & Conditions are set out on how Tik Balustrade operates, based in Pretoria, South Africa. By placing an order or approving a quote, you agree to these T&Cs.

Scope of Services

We supply, deliver and install:

Our work includes onsite measure, design adaptations, coordinating with third-party glass suppliers, and final installation.

Pricing & Payment Terms

  1. Deposit: 50% of the total quoted price is due on acceptance of quote to cover material ordering and supplier coordination.
  2. Progress Payment: The remaining 50% is due when installation is 70% complete—before final hand-over.
  3. No Refunds: Once an invoice is paid, materials are ordered or cut to your exact specifications. We're unable to refund processed invoices.

Site Readiness & Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth installation, you must:

Delays or extra costs resulting from unprepared sites are billed at our standard hourly rate.

Design Changes & Cancellations

Photography & Marketing

We love showing off our craftsmanship! We may photograph your finished project—only with your written consent. We'll anonymise any visuals used on social media or our website to protect your privacy.

Compliance & Certification

All installations comply with the South African National Standards (SANS) 10400 Building Regulations.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is strictly limited to the contract value. We're not responsible for:

Governing Law

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Pretoria courts.
